Northern trains

I was on the platform of Sunderland station last Saturday evening, between 8 and 830pm I think, I'd had a few, waiting for the train south to Horden, when it flew it straight past without stopping, looked rammed, but no more than usual, anyone else encountered this before? ended up having a few more drinks and got a taxi home.

Reet I know ive asked this before but planning on getting train up tomo - I dont leave early, it is 'do-able' to catch the 2205 isnt it? Barring some ridiculous injury time....
Was going to say as well with 2 kids (13 and 10) in tow but they can prob move faster than me:lol:

I'm not a young whippersnapper these days, T. (Sid from H/pool) 😉 👍

Yes 2205 according to their time table marra

TBH I thought it would be about 10 minutes from the town, it was more like 15 (I was in The Beehive, but that wont happen again :) )
It used to be 5-10 minutes, but I'm 59 and am usually physically & mentally drained, after watching 90+ minutes of a Sunland match. 😂
I'm sat on the 16:13pm Grand Central, out of H/pool.

The 2 carriage, Northern Rail service, left H/pool at 16:02pm, and was almost empty.

Bus replacement service from Hartlepool on next Saturday morning. That’ll be a character building journey back down 😷

Yeah mate, I’m staying up. A few of us have booked a travel lodge for £48. Think they’re sold out now too.

I’d have been up for that bus too. Really limited in travel options for evening games heading back to Hartlepool/Teesside. It’s so frustrating.

Just drove home to Seaham from Sunderland and the northern train went past going north with 4 carriages.

Guarantee there’ll only be 2 on tomorrow night
