Hmmmmm..head line in the Sun, who writes for the Sun?? Who is being mischievous again? Any clues.
Their new owners are the reason they're in this mess. By all accounts (the price of football podcast amoung others) they're financially fucked if/when they go down. Bought the club with its own money (sound familiar) and banking on PL TV money. They're gonna be in a lot of trouble.
They certainly are, once they have pocketed the parachute payments..

So tinpot they have been two divisions higher than you for how many years? With how many zeros more on their annual revenue?

Some of you complain when other fans criticise and laugh at you for being entitled and arrogant and then come out with stuff like this…
This 100%.

Shite little tin pot club Burnley, rather stay here and try and build something
Except he is on a relatively short rolling contract with a club where managers are rarely given a full season. Probably still has a house near Preston/Burnley.

He will be gone unless both Burnley and Sunderland are in the Championship next year.

Not sure like. If you do even the simplest of research you’ll find out that they are up the creek financially if they go down. More likely to do a Leeds / Forest than a Norwich / Fulham.

Leeds is good example which proves my point,

They got to The playoff final the year after they went down

Cheers for that

Wow - was there a special Leeds rule that season, where 14th qualified for the play offs?

Eh? Genuinely no idea what you’re talking about here like

They were in playoff final around the time they went down in next few years

Any team who goes down has a chance first few years
