If he got offered the job at Brighton would you expect him to stay because they are a smaller club? Why would he go to a smaller club
Don’t worry they’re still not as tinpot as Boro.
Oh dear.
Care to elaborate now your sober. What a f***ing stupid reply.
Of course not.Don’t worry they’re still not as tinpot as Boro.
Why on earth would the fact that the majority of Sunderland fans see you as a massive club (whatever that is) have any bearing on which club someone would prefer to be atWhy would he go to a smaller club
Doesn’t matter what league you are in, once a tin pot club always a tin pot club.Of course not.
You only have to look at where Boro are in LEAGUE ONE to know that........
I’m not deluding myself at all, I’m merely pointing out that it’s not a given that he would go if offered. Just like we failed to attract Tony Mowbray, Paul Cook or Paul Hurst out of league one when we went down to the Championship. And before you laugh at those names, we went for them before Grayson because at the time they were all better than Grayson. Good managers don’t often jump into basket case clubs. That’s not delusion, it’s fact.If you want to delude yourself that a manager would stay in the third division rather than go to a just relegated premier league side then go for it
Strange posts
What if the owners of the club offering him the role are even worse, and he knew he’d have to do what Huddersfield have had to, ie sell every player that they receive an offer for, and replace with free transfers? As long as we've got the current owners in charge Neil would be mental to turn down a team in the championship, a bigger fanbase means nowt with shite owners.
No, if we don’t go up then he’d likely go to any well run Premier or Championship side if offered the role. If Burnley stay up then they will be ok for another season. If they go down then must football economists believe that they will be the next financial basket case a la Leeds, Forest, Derby, etc. Nothing to do with size of club in my opinion, it’s to do with taking on a thankless job that can really only end in one way.If he got offered the job at Brighton would you expect him to stay because they are a smaller club?
The sun's bumholes making mischief again to unsettle someone & destabilise. Nothing new there. You must be logged on to see media items
Does the team you 'support' wear red stripes ? Or black ?Doesn’t matter what league you are in, once a tin pot club always a tin pot club.
Now don’t get upset cos I said you’re more tin pot than Burnley.
Get on your own tin pot forum and slag us off, there’s a good boy.
Normally I'd say the owners are much better and give managers a lot longer, but they've just been taken over and binned the long term manager so maybe not. Remember the 59% ownership who Neil is working for, that will be more important to him than number of fans or club history. Why would he go to a smaller club
Whilst we have Del boy & Rodney, and a puppet on a string as their mouthpiece.Burnley have got new owners and will have parachute payments.
