10th May is rumoured to be release date for Mini 3 and it will not have C classification so with small battery it’s all good as far as MTOM

They are just trying to keep up with the other manufacturers releases. It will fly off the shelves, im still hanging on for it. If its silly money i might just go for the 2 as hopefully it will be reduced.

Extended flight time and new controller looks nice but not enough for me to upgrade with the big jump in expected cost, Mini 2 is a fantastic little drone and think I'm just gonna hold onto that.

Aye, it's a big jump if you want the new controller too, not enough of a leap when it's simple to hook up the mobile and get almost all the same functionality for just a minute or 2 of faff.

Iirc you can get it with the standard controller too.

I saw a clip of a lad flying it in Blackpool. Not all features were working but the new controller looks amazing.
