Since the takeover the atmosphere has improved immeasurably and even when we’re losing, it’s miles better than it used to be. For the last few years it’s been like a graveyard. Away fans were right when they sang “where’s your f***ing atmosphere”. For the last few months there have been loads of fans hanging around after the game to celebrate and that has gradually evolved into a mini lap of honour - more a lap of appreciation. It’s not right round the she of the ground - just on a slightly wider radius than the centre circle. It’s been great to be honest, and I know there’s no way you’ll appreciate this, but it just feels like for the first time in 14 years everyone is pulling in the same direction. Our atmosphere has been shite for years but is now way better.

I’m not sure what you mean by false? I don’t think you’re saying that it didn’t physically happen. Are you saying they weren’t celebrating? Or we’re just asked to pose for the photo? I would disagree based on what they have said for the last few months. They are very on top of the matches, and frequent attenders (I mean AS, MG and the Reuben’s. No idea about the f***ing Saudis)

Of course they are going to the matches, wearing scarves etc. They are literally being paid to sportswash

Yeah but theyre only there to make money whilst sportswashing. They'll get their profit down the line and happily never think about you lot again.

You have been sportswashed.It is worth having no principles,just to see your state owned football team,win a game of football.A lap of honour means more to you,than the death of kids in Yemen. I really think you know you have been sportswashed
