Evans got booed on to the pitch. Sorry like but it’s f***ing embarrassing.

Neil has said how important he is to us but the absolute clowns boo him on because they haven’t got a clue what they are watching

Think the booing was more down to going 2-2 and Neil's response of taking off a creative player for a defensive one more than it was booing Evans tbh.

Evans has been fine lately.

Yeah was shocking the treatment of the substitutes. Evans got booed on to him he pitch 🙈 he then went on to make us more compact and build a platform to win the game.
Never heard or saw that mind... Gooch, if he was boo'ed, I didn't boo him but nor did I clap him off, it wasn't for him but it could have been for the way he slowly trudged across the pitch with minutes to go instead of leaving on the touchline to let us sub on.

You just need to read the start of the match thread yesterday to see people absolutely delighted he wasn’t starting.

He took a creative player because we were getting overran, anybody with half a clue could see it. Mind I would have took O’Nien off instead of Embleton but Neil’s decision once again worked a treat.

Always been boos at the SoL when we need a goal and a defensive change is made soon after conceding. Nowt new.

I thought a minority of our fans were really poor yesterday tbh. When things started going wrong plenty were on their backs, Gooch got booed off (ok he's limited to say the least but he gives 100%), and Evans got booed on FFS.

None of that really qualifies as the support we need in a crucially important match, and tbh we'd be better off without those morons.

Being good supporters is about a bit more than cheering goals and clapping your own attendance figure when it is read out.

Obviously all of the above was a minority.
We don’t generate an atmosphere at all these days like. It’s understandable given the past few years like but 2-0 up after 15 mins and we were silent. Was class when the equaliser went in but it should have been bouncing after the second. Great numbers as always but we don’t generate the noise of 5,000 at times

Ive said this earlier. SOL is no longer an intimidating atmosphere.
Been to 5/6 away games this year, and I know grounds much smaller but atmosphere is bouncing at some - Bolton (even before they started scoring for example)

We went flat cos the team went flat and started using the game as a "How many times can we pass it for nowt " exercise rather than keeping at them . We went flat , they got their tails up and that was that

Must admit, they were singing "we can see you sneaking out" and I could hardly see anyone leaving. Great support. Aye some of the reactions to the substitutions weren't great, but on the whole there was great support. The singing at the end after the winner as well, mint
Made the hairs stand up on the back of my neck at the end. Was f***ing brilliant.

Bloke in front of me did, I had a conversation with him :) he fucked off around 80 minutes, as he always does, he has missed loads of goals recently
What an idiot. I'd rather enter the stadium in the 80th minute than leave on 80 with this team He'll have only seen 3 of our last 8 goals at home. What's the point in coming!

Good support. 34k for a League One game and the biggest attendance yesterday. The roar for the winner was brilliant and the singing after the final whistle was class!

Sadly a few cretins let themselves down booing are own players.

Lad behind us, started slating Gooch in the first minute as he had a cross blocked, went down for a pint on 28 minutes. Went down at half time and he's jumping around singing his head off. Second half does nothing but slag Gooch off, then moves on to our support. Starts chanting 'our support is f***ing shite' at the top of his voice, leaves on 79 minutes.

🤷

theres absolutely nothing wrong with passing it about and playing keep ball without pressing high up the pitch when you are 2-0 up at home. in fact, its the smart thing to do, for spells, to tire the opposition and control the game. our fans won't accept that, and start booing and going huffy like teenage girls when we aren't going gung-ho for 90 minutes, that unnerves the players and the atmosphere changes, the players start panicking and making stupid decisions and the opposition feed off it. its exactly what happened yesterday and we nearly threw away 2 points because of it.

we have a massive following, but that results in the doylum contingent being proportionally big, so when we need to calm the game down, the idiots start getting on their backs. well done.

I was at the back of the south stand and there was definitely loud cheers as Gooch's name was read out and he made his way off the field. The lads having a hard time of it lately and in poor form, but one things for certain he will always give his all and never shirk away from showing for the ball

Our fans get really edgy when we keep the ball.Theyd rather us just hoof it up for stewart to win a flick on.Its mental .They need to realise if we have the ball, they cannot score.

Well said. Doylum? Please enlighten me, it is a new word for me.

It's likely that they are non-readers, perhaps when drunk or using blue smoke, which is probably most of the time.

I am sick to death of them. Should (or can) the club take action? Or is there a law that protects the brain dead?
