YeahDo you pay by DD?
he Council has been allocated funding to administer a discretionary scheme. This funding will be used to:
Provide a payment to households in receipt of council tax support in council tax bands E to H; and
Provide a top up payment of £20 to all households claiming council tax support. This means that households in receipt of council tax support on 1 April 2022 will receive a payment of £170 in total
Yeah
I didn't have a payment this month actually, I've filled the form in anyway so I should get it.I'm guessing that they'll be waiting for the April DD payment to be paid first (the government guidance said Councils should do this)...so if you pay by DD but later in the month that might be why you haven't received it yet

We’re in band e and our council (Telford) have given us £100 from the discretionary fund. Doesn’t make sense to me, not everyone in band E needs it so it feels it’d have been better to give more to those most in need.It seems stupid that councils are using the discretion payments to pay it to people in bands e to h. You would think if they were going to do this then the government would have just handed out the money to all.
