Genuine question to the mags on here, (and anyone else who wants to chip in).

How much do you think Newcastle need to spend to be anywhere near the top 6?

Based on what I saw this evening, you are absolutely light years behind the top six.

p.s. Don't give me all that "it's a project" crap. Because I guarantee Spurs, Man U etc have their own "projects" which are far more advanced than yours.
They're going to need best part of half a billion to turn that side into a top 4 team

You are likely talking 20 points for top 6. It happens (Leicester +40) but I can’t see how a team with second lowest possession playing hoof ball upto Wood can transform themselves that easily.

Apparently not if this story is true and not an April Fool (says the story is 1 day old which was the 2nd but it must be a joke). Apols if SEB but WTF?
Isn't he a free agent anyway?

Really looking forward to a return to action the weekend. Hard game at Spurs but you never know.
Chortle that went well
They beat us 3-2 at our place this season but we’re a different team now so hopefully we’ll reverse that Sunday.
You're not man you're still absolutely f***ing shite you've had a couple of lucky wins and beat a few shite teams. You got beat of 10 men Everton and this is an Everton team who are shambolic

We’ve improved and that’s the main thing. We’ll also continue to improve with further investment.

Not necessarily. You spent a fortune in January and the performances/improvement have been minimal.

You'll probably spend more in summer but no guarantee you will improve drastically. And if you don't you'll all turn on the Saudis and start taking an interest in human rights.

You won't find a single Newcastle fan whoever supported the takeover if that happens.

Results have improved but what has changed? They had a few strokes of luck at the beginning (keeper spilling balls, deflections, opposition missing sitters...) but has the style of play changed?

Possession - (2nd worst);
Passess - (2nd worst)

Aerial duels won - (top 7);

The new Wimbledon!
