This isn't knee jerk (check my posts)....

There is no difference between post-pre Howe and the stats (see fbref.com) show no difference at all. They just had that feel good factor and a bit of fortune which eventually disappears. I would love some of our resident mags, with some football coaching knowledge, to provide evidence using above data on what EH has done. I've said it before and I will say it again EH will be sacked by Christmas. I am having a tenner on him being first managerial casualty.

Looks like we’ve still done enough to survive, so time I now feel to start planning for the future with some good investment.

How much do you think Newcastle need to spend to be anywhere near the top 6?

Based on what I saw this evening, you are absolutely light years behind the top six.

p.s. Don't give me all that "it's a project" crap. Because I guarantee Spurs, Man U etc have their own "projects" which are far more advanced than yours.
