Ask BarryJingham1 on Twitter. He has become an expert and the king of deflection. Every time something negative is written about the owners he pounces on it. Picked him up on a few things over time but it’s futile he is too far gone.

I don’t think the media do hate Newcastle fans. I believe the opposite is true. We get, in the main, a pretty favourable press. Before PIF it was incredibly so.
 
They certainly do not hate you. They've blown smoke up your arses for years for no good reason. Even now when the Cup 3rd round comes up they describe you as being a great Cup team whilst in reality you've not won the thing for over half a decade.

The Saudi love in is and will come to an end and as said earlier there's no way you'll get owners who are as rich as the Saudi scum. Sold your souls to the Devil & constantly defending them has made you the most hated club in the UK.

I'm just jealous obviously 🙄

Of course he won't. He's nothing to do with the running of the club. There's mysterious "proof" out there somewhere.

Even if he doesn't sell, he might tire of throwing big money at players like Chris Wood and give the club an Ashley-esque budget

We know how your fans can turn when people don't spend the money they feel they deserve. And Saudis don't take criticism on the chin

Chris Wood seems to be the ‘go to’ example of poor spending. Yes £25m is a lot. That said he has been part of the improvement that has kept us up. Good, bad or indifferent it is unfair to suggest he has not been a good purchase.
Will he be a first choice this time next season… I seriously doubt it but £25m to stay up is a price I am sure most would accept is good value.
