Indeed and I think their average league position since 1892 is 13th and ours since 1880 is 14th we’ve had more league titles and more recent league titlesAshley kept them afloat, and largely in the Premier League. When they dropped out he spent big to get them up there. Wheres the problem?
He knew his limits. He knew he couldn't compete with the Man City's and Arsenal's who have global support. So he cut his cloth and gave Newcastle a stable premier league club. (Or as they would say.... made them suffer)
George Reynolds was ambitious. He spent money and he went above and beyond and killed the club. That's suffering. Darlo fans have suffered.
I can't wait for the day the Saudis pack in. Because that's the end of the line. That's breaking point. That's Newcastle fans with nowhere else to turn
They won't be able to criticise them, they won't be able to win support from other clubs.... and there will be very few people out there with the spending power that PiF potentially have.
And I think it may well come sooner than they think. Maybe not this year.... or the next... but I think (hope) its coming

The status quo will spin around soon enough and it’ll break their tiny entitled brains
What goes around comes around as they say...karma has a funny way of showing its hand at times..like I said in previous posts..the narrative is changing towards unscrupulous owners and their Ill gotten gains..the world in the past 2 years is in freefall..War..pandemic..climate change etc...everything needs a total reset..It will destroy them. If/when the money dries up, they will not find a wealthier backer than PiF. Simple as that. Financially, post PiF it's always going to be a step back
And the best bit is, they will get zero sympathy from the average fan.
Good job they’re really sound of character, humble and accept that football is all about rough with smooth, kicks in the teeth, having to be humble from time to time.It will destroy them. They’ve miraculously got over the mass depression which had engulfed the cityGood job they’re really sound of character, humble and accept that football is all about rough with smooth, kicks in the teeth, having to be humble from time to time.
Oh wait, no, they’re none of the above
When you sell your soul for 30 pieces of silver...anything is possible!!They’ve miraculously got over the mass depression which had engulfed the cityI thought depression was a mental malaise which can’t be fixed by money
??

Man City and the Scum the only 2 clubs to vote against a regulator who had powers to ban nation state ownership of clubs. Funny that. The ignoramus speaks again
We also asked whether fans supported a regulator who had powers to ban nation state ownership of clubs, or sovereign wealth fund ownership or individuals backed by states. The results, by club.28/n https://t.co/RqwkxLTJ0P
Some fans are part of the dog fight. They value the ability to buy players above the lives of innocent people and children. That tells you all you need to know about Newcastle fans. Football isn't that important.
45% of mags want a regulator which would kick the saudi's out?Man City and the Scum the only 2 clubs to vote against a regulator who had powers to ban nation state ownership of clubs. Funny that.
I’ve just had a quick look at your post history and it’s just constant sly digs at SAFC. Yet another pathetic sad mag pretending to be a SAFC fan.The only 6 in a row we have to worry about is 6 years in a row out of the big show (Premiership) …… only us and those on Tyneside would even know
