Nowt wrong with Northern League. I've seen some cracking games at that level!

I cant see Newcastle facing sanctions or anything like that. Its too late for all that.

But if the UK media start on them, the Saudis may lot like the pressure. If the likes of Panorama started a documentary on them, and if media attention turned... I could see the Saudis wanting out. But that may take a very long time.
Maybe in the past, but in the current climate the public are more aware of injustices and they can bring about change quickly if there's enough pressure -we'll see.

Anyone thinking these fuckers we’re going do a city (wasn’t happening anyway IMO thanks for FFP) need not worry. Football ownership now in the public consciousness and even people who know nothing about football will have heard about the mags dodgy takeover due to the increased media spotlight thanks to RA and Russia. The tide is turning towards sustainable ownership and I think we will see real change now to the point the mags will risk sanctions. If this ‘Saudi media group’ have their ownership bid for Chelsea turned down, the premier league will have to take action against PIF’s ownership of the vermin.

It's brilliant that it's now being questioned more and the spotlight is well and truly on the Mags ownership. It's bloody awful that it's taken a war in Ukraine to bring it to the forefront though. These journalists/presenters jumping on the bandwagon were perfectly happy and wanking themselves silly at the thought of the Mags challenging and how much they would spend in the transfer window.

They have to keep the pressure up though.

What's Trevor Sinclair done that's racist I dont follow Twitter? I just remember that brilliant goal he scored

The mags wanted everyone to take notice of how horrible Ashley was. They wanted other teams to join in their protests. They even has local MP’s bringing up Ashley’s lack of transfer funds in Parliament. The had numerous protests and complained they weren’t getting enough coverage about Ashley. They ridiculed managers for working under Ashley’s ‘regime’

Now the tables have turned, and everyone is taking notice of their owners, questioning their manager about working under the new ‘regime’. Now they don’t like it and want no coverage and want to be left alone.

You reap what you sow. Suck it up, buttercups. You wanted this. Deal with the flack, instead of defending it.

Chi "What is she going to do? Is she going to make it absolutely clear that sports washing is not an option?" - unbelievable given she was up the Saudi's arse yet moaning about Ashley and zero hour contracts.
She was front and centre in the campaign for their ownership. Talk about back peddling. she also said “ football fans have no control or influence over the ownership of their beloved clubs” 🤣🤣🤣👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 FFFSake did she miss the hundred thousand signature petition? The visit to parliament, the visit to Downing Street, camping outside PL hq? The squawking and blaring anywhere and everywhere? She was there she was one of them, along with the other MPs from up here.
The mags dropped their pants, bent over and spread their cheeks for the saudis, and she was chief cheerleader.
No influence. 🤣🤣🤣 who is she kidding? She’s working In the right part of the world mind. Absolutely shameless and as thick as pig shit.
