Anyone thinking these fuckers we’re going do a city (wasn’t happening anyway IMO thanks for FFP) need not worry. Football ownership now in the public consciousness and even people who know nothing about football will have heard about the mags dodgy takeover due to the increased media spotlight thanks to RA and Russia. The tide is turning towards sustainable ownership and I think we will see real change now to the point the mags will risk sanctions. If this ‘Saudi media group’ have their ownership bid for Chelsea turned down, the premier league will have to take action against PIF’s ownership of the vermin.

Virtually none of the media complained. In fact quite the opposite. Likes of Jim White was disgusting, as were Neville and Sinclair. Add most of the collumnists and NE journalists and tv presenters.

Are sky not the main cause of the problem though. They've pushed the finances of premier league clubs to such levels that they are now only viable options for billionaires. There's only so many of these people/organisatuo s around and a lot of them are going to be dodgy. We need a complete reset/rethink but it's mot going to happen is it?

An independent regulator can change the way companies and organisations work if they tell the premier League that they find that states can't own football clubs or that owners with horrendous human rights issues can't own football clubs then there will be repercussions I'm sure
