Russia invading Ukraine (NEWS/UPDATES)

Apart from the emigration, that could be describing the USA.
Yea. The other thing is no one wants to move to Russia. The UK and US would both pretty much have falling populations if not for net positive inward migration, and Russia doesn’t have that.

They've just brought a scheme out with subsidised mortgages and deferred military service for IT staff and no income tax for 3 years for IT companies. They're clearly struggling to retain their bright young people.

Largest brain drain in the Putin era. I’ve just read that the most searches online in Russia yesterday and today are migration laws into the stans/east asia and what’s it like to live in those places.

Citizens are returning to fight for Ukraine whilst Russians are trying to flee..

Well, we are being told that the Russians are being sanctioned and yet I see the banks still have another 4 weeks, we are told that Ukrainian refugees can come to the UK but when they arrive they get turned away, we see videos online of Russian losses that are not from this war.
Like I said, we see the footage and use our own intellect to sort the truth from the propaganda.
We are not subject to government censorship, and still have access to all the social networks denied to the Russian population. And we are not being fed the crock of shit by Putin as the accepted truth.

Anyone see the interview on GB news with a ex associate of Putin’s? Difficult to listen too. Sounds like the Russians are prepared to lose some of their territory, and the U.K. is first on the hit list followed by France and Germany. Surely though most of the Russian population live in 10-15 main big cities? What would Russia be if say Moscow, St. Petersburg and Kazan were taken out?
It’s a Russian on GB News. A lie squared is a massive lie. I would ignore everything that was said and it actually probably shows Putin is never going to use nukes. Shame this Russian propaganda is allowed on UK telly.

Not massively. Got 11 up. Let’s hope those stingers have made it through to the front. Russia supposedly lost a good number of modern fighter aircraft yesterday.

The crucial thing for me is maintaining the supply of weapons that make a difference. Surely the Russians will at some stage attempt to stop the supply lines.

Grim-I think NATO will be in soon, this genocide isn't going to stop and we can't stand by and let it continue.

Not sure myself. I know this sounds counter-intuitive but the Ukrainians have a regular army of 200k, one of the largest in Europe, 700k reservists and all those civilians who've now picked up a rifle. The absolute priority is giving them the military capability to fight back.

No other country in Europe, possibly the world has their combat experience atm. They’ve had 6 drafts, all who were drafted fought in the war in the east in some capacity as far as I’m aware. Iirc that’s 400k with some combat experience, not just military experience.

As you say it’s weapons systems etc they need most. Their army looks extremely experienced and effective.

How do you know this, how? Seriously, all you keep saying is let’s go in and they won’t use nukes. Seriously, out of interest, how old of you, do you have kids, a wife, siblings?

If this escalates I couldn’t give a shiny shit about me, but I could for my son, and my family and friends. I take it you’ll be the first to volunteer if nato decides to intervene.

This level of sanctions will bite hard and quickly, so I really don't think they can reopen the stock exchange - not sure what their alternatives are.

Based on a limited amount of research and observation of others informed opinions (better informed than me anyway) it looks like their entire economy may collapse by the summer.
I think before the summer due to the ammount of sanctions, important sanctions at that. I dont think Vlad's thought this one through.

Really scary, any link for this?

GB News has got some strange Russia-linked funders. I wouldn’t take it at face value tbh
