Let him take over the whole of Ukraine, killing whoever he wants on the way ?
Doesn't sir right with me ,
We can't just watch all this happen
There is only certain situations we can get involved and besides Zelensky is going to kick his arse man
So your average Russian can no longer access Facebook, twitter, use visa/Mastercard, lost a range of radio/tv media, cash machines(?), cannot fly to most western countries, easily buy a lot of western brands, watch Russian teams compete in international sports…..You would think some sort of penny will drop…..
This is what we are told,. We really need a Russian poster, or someone that knows a Russian, to tell us if all this reality because it sounds like an imprisonment scenario to me.

Precisely, though Finland would be far harder to defend.

On reflection, I wonder if in reality we are operating standards of 'convenience'.

Beneath it all, perhaps Ukraine is regarded as not being in the western 'club' and therefore expendable.
An element of truth to this I would agree, it’s the latest in a series of proxy wars isn’t it. We’re getting to see the state of a supposed world superpower military and how our own intervention at distance can stack up. In the process it’s also an opportunity to destabilise that superpower by proxy whilst at it.

I think the nuke fear is real, but globally rather than just NATO and Ukraine unfortunately isn’t the red line some would like it to be for the West. The response would and will be stronger if those stated and more cleanly defined red lines are crossed I’ve no doubt.

It is an imprisonment scenario. I have now two Russian political contacts detained.

The female one, who works for a human rights NGO, I saw being arrested on TV news tonight.

My partner is Russian/Lithuanian/Israeli and is monitoring Russian TV all the time on the internet. It was she that confirmed the mutiny by 5,000 Russian contract soldiers.

The road to the war in Ukraine leads through a decade or more of Russian formal and informal warfare

You can try and pretend otherwise, but that doesn't stop it from being true

Why do some many right wingers want to stop this debate taking place?
The same could be said for Putin only invading once Biden was in power. Like he was waiting for the right president.

Also once Markel had moved on, he seen his chance

My Russian friend in Argentina is unable to access her Russian bank. My Russian colleague here in China can't use hers either.

Great news if true
Obviously I want the Ukrainians to win this war but if this nuclear facility keeps changing sides, along with more firefights, that in itself comes with possibilities for damage to be done to the reactor's and the control mechanisms, and we all know where that can go?
