they've attacked a nuclear power plant which could have devastating consequences,
Do we sit back and wait for it to happen ?

It was a flare they fired hardly attacking a nuclear power station.

See all the deaths in Ukraine right now? Would you want too see that multiplied by 1000 with a nuke dropped on England?

As we would be the likely target. He wouldn't dare launch a small one to America but I bet he wouldn't hesitate to drop on small nuke here. Show he means business and attacking a big nato nation in the process

Let him take over the whole of Ukraine, killing whoever he wants on the way ?
Doesn't sir right with me ,
We can't just watch all this happen

another $15 million vehicle plus some other support vehicles captured by what looks like ukrainian 'territorial' troops
I appreciate we're getting a very one sided view, especially on social media but this is not sustainable for the russians to keep losing so many vehicles.

if you look carefully it seems like the fuel tank was ruptured, that's the only damage i can see(?)

In this insane hypothetical, why wouldn't he pick Germany, a big NATO nation that doesn't have any nukes of its own to shoot back at him?

Sadly it's all about the best result.

Letting this war happen may result in a million deaths but that would be better than 5 million deaths.

It's complicated. You can't reason with the unreasonable. Dictators rarely just give up if anything they escalate till there fucked. Nato getting involved would make Russia more aggressive not shit there pants

I’m not being a dick when I say this, just making a point.

Foreign nationals can go and join the fight for Ukraine now. Those who think we should be doing something now can literally go and do something now.

So your average Russian can no longer access Facebook, twitter, use visa/Mastercard, lost a range of radio/tv media, cash machines(?), cannot fly to most western countries, easily buy a lot of western brands, watch Russian teams compete in international sports…..You would think some sort of penny will drop…..

Putin doesn't like anyone, but he's not nuking a country that has a submarine-based nuclear retaliatory capability.

I would disagree. In 2018 he said what is the point in a world without Russia.

Push him hard enough and he might just do it. Yeah it's tragic and awful to see what's happening in Ukraine but it can get a lot worse not just in Ukraine but for everyone globally.

Samsung pulling out now

Samsung has become the latest company to suspend shipments to Russia, .

In a statement, the company said: “Our thoughts are with everyone who has been impacted and our priority is to ensure the safety of all our employees and their families.” The company is also donating $6 million, including $1 million in consumer electronics products, to humanitarian efforts in the region, according to Bloomberg.

Microsoft has also suspended all sales and services to , while Apple has suspended sales of iPhones, and restricted other services.

Hopefully they are trying to use as much as they can. Clearly if still fighting going on around it’s best to just burn it. But if there is a lull whilst sides regroup hopefully they can recover and start to benefit from it.

Not easy for the complex vehicles or ones they don’t have ammo for even if minor damage

They can still get a Big Mac and Coke though.

If the Ukranians can hold out for long enough, domestic pressure will increase exponentially and a threat is likely to Putin within the Kremlin.
