To be absolutely fair we need to see a breakdown of these 'entities' , even just one could be the equivalent of 100.
The bellend raab made that point on bbc news this week when he was challenged on why the eu had sanctioned more people, he said it was was about impact rather than quantity.

What he was probably meaning though is they couldn’t sanction people invested in the Torag party.

Ukrainians playing their national anthem over the russian forces radio network...

Also another exchange where the Ukranians interrupted russian military radio chatter...

One thing in Ukraine’s favour in their ability to fight is they have had a pretty aggressive mandatory military service since the start of 2015. Looks like it was backdated then too that anyone under 27 would have to spend at least 1 year, with many doing 18 months or more of military service. Most Eastern European countries had large numbers doing it anyway even when not mandatory.

So there will probably be a very decent number of younger males who have gone through it. Plus they made it mandatory for females in December too.

When we hear about arming civilians, the civil defence force and other reservists most of them will have gone through professional military service.

They won’t have seen actual combat but it’s still not like handing a rifle to the average Brit who hasnt got a clue. 12-18 months of full time training they will have a decent ability at least in the basics

12 million roubles is roughly 73k in Sterling. Not an enormous amount really although average salary in Russia is about 8k per year so not insignificant.
I doubt any families will see that money. Wagner Group operators are supposed to have a death in service payment that goes to their families. The families from those killed in Syria got f all.

That’s your opinion, though. You can’t make decisions with such humongous consequences based on thinking it probably wouldn’t happen.

He's another armchair warrior gambling with the lives of millions. Bleed them dry over time, rouble by rouble, coffin by coffin.

Mods: can we put this back on the politics board? That way it’s hidden, and @greedminds doesn’t text me about it every 15 f***ing minutes.

Thanks muchly

Replace Snudge Brothers with “Ministry of Foreign Affairs” and you basically have a younger Putin sending a video to Ukraine.
You can f***ing do something about it when you get to the bastard top though…

That is why the uk is getting a body swerve from the international community when it comes to the united approach to Russia. This government, this county, you, me - we’re tainted, we’ve all been bought.
Is there a graph that shows the sanctions in monetary terms? Just curious to see if that keeps the graph the same or changes it.

For once in his life he does have a point.

I spent a year living in India and travelled to probably 10 different states and I didn’t experience a single anti-British sentiment personally even at museums covering British atrocities like this fella . I’d even go so far saying people treated me with extra kindness because I was British

Well I've never been to India so can only report what one of my oldest pals told me. It has been known for people to show a different face to someone if they believe your feom a different country - which is why he continued to feign being Russian.

IBM won’t sell any technology into Russia. After Microsoft they are still the biggest business tech platform provider. Oracle have already pulled out. Not sure on SAP but those 4 are critical to most companies ability to operate

Indians are not inhospitable people at all, although the political environment is changing for the worse.

If anything, they welcome foreigners because their attempts to try and get your money and sell you stuff is over the top.
