Has there been a single allegation yet of any politician taking Russian money outside of the established rules/not properly declaring it?

Can we really call transparently-declared political donations within a well-established regulatory framework “corruption”?

Would to do so, not be an insult to people who’ve lived under actual, corrupt governments elsewhere?

Don’t disagree at all, it was a greasy and arrogant neoliberal plot to steal resources using bullshit justifications. My only question was about the 500k killed by America figure in your other post.

For as similar as the true motives are here (geopolitical great game), the Americans could at least truly point to Sadam as being a dangerous monster and while there was tremendous suffering, there wasn’t the same degree of reckless targeting of civilian infrastructure

But anyway, not really worth the discussion with all the other shite going on

It’s a moot question, because I don’t believe Russia would ever launch a nuclear attack.

However to walk through the logic underpinning the question anyway - if we do assume that Russia would do that, then it’s coming regardless whether it’s tomorrow or a year or two from now.

In either scenario, we should still be doing the right thing,
