Something we will never know eh I mean the world is moving forward with technology could be coming from
Anywhere Ukraine could also be skilled really well too!
There’s no doubt in my mind that Putin is rattled. His demeanour has completely changed in his last few speeches. He looks tired, edgy and isn’t his usual composed self and seems unsure. Now he’s reaching out to neighbouring countries and asking for normalisation of nations.

There’s no way he was expecting this invasion to last so long. He certainly wasn’t expecting the world’s reaction and demonisation of him and how quickly Russia would be affected by sanctions. He wasn’t expecting the Ukrainian peoples reaction either.

He’s probably been lied to by his generals about the state of his army and he wouldn’t have thought he’d be seeing hundreds of broken down or abandoned pieces of equipment and he wouldn’t have thought they’d be any logistical issues. He certainly wouldn’t have expected his soldiers to be dissenting and desserting

He’s rattled alright and beginning to have the look of a man who knows the game is up. He’s a dead man walking
Also opening up to talks in Turkey

Serious question. Reckon the UK would vote Brexit at the min?

Seems that decision was taken after a period of total stability. Ignore the brexit shambles but... Given united scenes in Europe with welcoming refugees & that an independent country has been picked off, reckon UK would still be 51% leave?
No. But I’d say the same even before that. It wouldn’t be a huge remain, but enough people have shifted. 55-45 or something I’d guess

Absolutely not. You may get a few of the hardliners on here disagreeing but remain would win comfortably

Anyone else think the Americans aren't quite doing enough here. Energy self-sufficient and largely food self-sufficient and won't be affected by the huge displacement of people. Reluctant to deploy troops after Afghanistan I just wonder whether they see this as more of a European problem. I think Biden has come across as weak in all this too.
Hmm, the American airforce is putting in the airmiles at the minute.

He does but sadly it’s probably due to the fact he’s 70 odd and will be working round the clock without any sleep. It’s now obvious they don’t give a shit about civilian deaths and they will stop at nothing. Next step looks like an amphibious invasion of Odessa leaving Ukraine landlocked. Unfortunately it looks like they’ll take whatever they want now with whatever means required and I’m starting to think they will most likely use tactical nukes at some point to finish the job. They’ll obviously have to deal with an insurgency once they take Kiev but I don’t see them being stopped now.

What happens to Russia in the meantime is anyone’s guess but they have in the past shown they’ll dig in and take the hardship of it all.

Biden's doing great. The main idea is to avoid a nuclear war and not do or say anything stupid.
The U.S. military and the intelligence services will be doing their thing too.
