Eventually it will come down to call his bluff or give up and learn to speak Russian. The choice will be ours. Perhaps we should also consider why countries like Poland, Latvia, Hungary etc. aren’t keen to return to living under Russian rule and why Ukrainians are fighting so hard and enduring so much rather than just saying “okay we’ll give you whatever you want”? None of those countries who know what it’s like seem keen to repeat the experience.

The US want him out as he is far better in exile to stop any legitimacy of a puppet government then he is dead or captured.

I think the only way they get him out is killed, and if he has 95% approval rate if the Russians do kill him the puppet state would never work you have seen how these defend with everything they have.

The people who want Ukraine to give up are in reality the ones who are worried about it coming to our shores. Care enough to share status etc but don’t care enough to act.

You’d have to ask him. He’s told you he’s not pro anyone. I can sympathise as neither am I. I don’t have any allegiance to anyone in this war at all. He’s come down on one side and I’ve come down on another. I personally think like Putin he’s misjudged human spirit. I loathe to say what I’d do were England invaded by a dictator but from my comfy chair here with a bottle of Chablis I’d like to think I’d fight as hard as I can till we won or I died.

I just don’t like to see people being told they’re talking shite for something when it’s well intended.

Georgia has applied for EU membership. Risky business considering they've already been pummelled and territory annexed for Western ties.

Government doesn't want to piss Russia off but were under severe pressure by the public - Literally Ukraine-lite.

On about them going into Finland and Sweden’s airspace not the Romanian incident crossed wired here I’m staying Russians always fly into other areas airspace like many other nations not one mention of that was on about the Romanian planes.

Even that was naughty. It was a violation of sovereign air space, not just the buffer zone that RAF normally intercept in. Within rights to shoot them down.

And it was 4x attack planes...

Very true within rights very very tough call on someone to make also.

Hope as what you say witu the Romanians are snow very unlikely 2x aircraft though.
