Wow, this is what I love about this place, it really is an eye-opener. I mean that in the most genuine way. You're saying free will is an illusion????? You're right we can't control what comes into our heads but we can control what we do with that information. That is free will. I'd love to debate this until the cows come home but its not the thread for it. Maybe another thread will be started where we can have a good old ding dong.

Could the middle east countries not up production and so keep the prices lower? They'd still make a fortune if they are selling extra instead of the Russians.

So in a war that Russia will win, why continue fighting and putting your own citizens to death if the outcome is going to oppression either way?

It’s a tricky decision to make. And it will have to pass certain bills from every member state of NATO. By the time it happens putin will have got the land he wants and will call a ceasefire .

What happens next is anyones guess ?
