Europe = steady for 80 years. He is de stabilising europe.

Aye thats all civil war stuff which is different.
No european country has invaded another for 80 years. Especially powerful ones. Its an immediate risk to europe what he is doing. No different to hitler going into poland.

to be honest this is basically a repeat of the soviet invasion of Czechoslovakia in 1968 where they used other warsaw pact countries to help them out. they even said the same thing as they've said to their troops now, that it's just "exercises"

they succeeded then and thought they would now. thankfully the incredibly brave and resilient ukranians have told them to do one.

I made a joke about the police from The Hague coming to get ya, but they did actually get him for that one! That Slobadan whatshisface.


Back to my original point, it doesn't matter whether you're bombing Arab civilians or European civilians, it's just as bad no matter where in the world it's happening, if the world leaders aren't going to enforce the rules, then there's no point being outraged. China's declared war against a specific type of Muslim and the Saudi's put a bloke in a suitcase and they haven't done much about either!

Everyone agrees Russia is guilty of war crimes.

Doesn't mean we are allowed to do it back. Yes we have the right to defend ourselves but we have to be right when doing it.

In reality I wouldn't give a fuck if we were being invaded, i'd do everything i could, no rules

We cant fight everyones battleswe're a tiny island!! This is on our doorstep and we're trying as hard as possible to avoid going to war and de stabilising europe.

Agree.

This is why I think lack of intervention in Syria was shameful. The UK and US could have gone in, removed Assad and crushed ISIS before Russia ever got involved. Our Parliament voted to turn our back.

But that’s a different thread topic and distraction from what is happening in Ukraine.
 
Never read one report about prisoners being taken from either side , have I missed anything or are they taking no prisoners ?

If the Russians had stayed within their own borders none of this would be necessary. For many Ukrainians it’s the only means of defence they have.
