Russia invading Ukraine (NEWS/UPDATES)

I have seen several news reports this morning including one where Indian students claimed to have been abused.

If we're being entirely honest East Europeans hadn't caught up to the rest of Europe regards race issues. Their football crowds were notoriously hostile to black players.

That being said its not really the time and place to be concentrating on that, although I did notice one or two publications were.

I know there will be massive amounts of propaganda from the Ukrainians, but these reports, photos and videos appear to be showing the Russian army completely unprepared and poorly equipped. Evidence includes:

1. Appears they have virtually no comms equipment and are using mobiles and civilian radios
2. We’ve seen many heavy equipment and tanks either abandoned, broken down or stuck in muddy fields.
3. Soldiers appearing to not know why they are there in the first place
4. Rations that are 7 years beyond the expiry date.
5. Reports of mutiny and soldiers unwilling to fight. Being held up by unarmed civilians.
6. A miles long supply convoy outside Kiev that is literally just a sitting duck.

You get the impression that the generals have been frightened to tell Putin what a state the army is in prior to him ordering the invasion.

Copy n pasted this from Quora for a question asked three years ago, the person who answered the question is/was a Senior Controller at Nato.

Senior Controller at NATO

The nuclear release procedure of the US and Russia are almost identical, they were developed together in 1962.
Nuclear release can only occur when the military presents the political leadership with a number of options., without these no release is possible.
The Russians have a nuclear briefcase, Cheget ((named after a mountain) similar to the American Nuclear Football.
This is a communications device, it can’t be used to fire nuclear weapons. The actual release codes are kept by the military.
Just like in the US, the briefcase is there to allow a President to communicate with the military over a secured line, it is nothing more than a big phone.
In both countries, the final decision to deploy nuclear weapons lies with the military.
These systems were created jointly by the US and the Soviet Union in 1962 as a result of a meeting between Supreme Allied Commander Europe, General Lemnitzer, and the Supreme Commander of the Unified Armed Forces of the Warsaw Treaty Organization, Marshal of the Soviet Union Grechko. These protocols are known as the Berlin Accords.

The daft fucker has given away that they want to take part of Moldova. It’s not photoshopped as they were recording it

It’s a strange one, even their paras have struggled so it’s not just conscripts.

Seems they were not ready for war the fact the supply lines were struggling instantly

They expected to walk over in no time at all.

Madness.

And now to add to their disarray, their allies leader is posting videos of their invasion plans for the whole world to see.

If it weren’t so serious, this invasion could almost be a Monty Python film

Something is definitely not right with the way their invasion is going. Something is amiss
