Take it not much more is happening in the advance?
The Russian pattern the last few days has been to move troops during the day relatively leisurely and attack at night. Their troops have to rest some time, after all. They've just chosen to go nocturnal, and part of that may well be media and comms strategy: doing the dirty work while it's hard to record video and much of Europe is asleep doesn't seem like a stupid move to me.

He meant those currently trying to leave. He was complaining that the coverage was bias toward white people. I had a quick look and there are very very few none whites living there however I’ve seen lots of reports of how they’re struggling.

I certainly don't wish to tar all Eastern Europeans with the same brush, but Poland in particular has a serious problem with far right racism IIRC. Trying to get from Ukraine to Poland can't be easy if you don't fit the bill for some people.

it turns out allegedly that woman journo who was crying at boris asking about a no fly zone etc has abit of history

Kaleniuk, however, is scarcely the “journalist” Western media outlets are . Instead, The National Pulse can reveal, Kaleniuk is a long-time political activist recently used in the Joe Biden 2020 campaign. Additionally, Kaleniuk serves as a (WEF) Global Young Leader.

if this is indeed true why??
I’d be very wary of using a right wing blog edited by somebody like Kassam as any sort of impartial reference.

Seems to be confusion on this. Looks like the planes will be transferred but they are bing careful on semantics

Initial thoughts...Ukraine didn't have the best track record before this kicked off, hardly what you'd call a trustworthy nation...the president is obviously riding high on a tide of popularity in the west based mainly on people who have no idea of how corrupt a nation he governs is so to try and play on that popularity why not stick an activist into the mix to keep that support going.

Ukraine are very good at pulling stunts as well as Putin's lot....personally, and I'll probably get pelters again for this, I'm not convinced by the presidents performance or any plea from him for help from the west.

I think you have a point. Not really comfortable with the hero line being trotted out. Even 🥰 emojis at one point. Just weird in a war - full stop.
However you will get pelters... but you knew that afore ya posted

One interesting change in dynamics is that Putin is now dealing with two different entities in the West. NATO and the European Union.

Although there is a lot of overlap they are separate institutions with separate decision makers. And it’s the EU that will have pissed off Putin by giving military weapons and fighter jets. And then accepting the Ukraine initial application to join today.

Not sure if this is a good thing. NATO are savvy in dealing with Russia and understand the boundaries. The EU probably don’t, in a military sense, and therefore maybe run the risk of making a unilateral decision that albeit well meaning causes an escalation.

The fighter jets potentially being an example. The EU said all sorts about it when it was announced and yet it looks like today NATO have got Poland to row back and be more specific clarifying their comments.

Small margins but words probably matter being the tensions
