What that tweet doesn't say is the lad died several moments later as I posted yesterday as the Ukrainian ambassador read out the translation yesterday, so sad! 😔

I googled it to get a bit more info on this but it's not on UK or MSM websites though it's on a few other 'random' websites such as this one when you search for the quotes.

China on Monday reiterated its opposition to what it called “illegal and unilateral” sanction” on Russia amid Moscow launching war in Ukraine.

“China does not approve sanctions to resolve problems,” said Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin, as reported by Chinese public broadcaster CGTN.

He said Beijing “has always opposed unilateral sanctions above international law.”

Beijing’s reiteration of its stance came as Russia’s attack on Ukraine entered its fifth day on Monday, triggering international condemnation with barrage of sanctions on Moscow, including blocking access to the SWIFT international banking system.

“China asks all sides to show restraint to avoid exacerbating Russia-Ukraine tensions,” Wang said.

China opposed sanctions on Russia on Friday, a day after Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a military operation against Ukraine.

“China opposes any illegal sanctions that harm Russia’s legitimate rights and interests,” Wang had told a news conference in Beijing.

“The US has imposed more than 100 sanctions on Russia since 2011, but this is not a fundamental and effective means to solve the problem,” he said.
This more about preparing the ground ahead of their desire to get Taiwan back than Ukraine.

I am all for helping us much as we can but how do you propose to ensure those allowed in are actually Ukrainian? and not Russians that Putin has sent over to destabalise European countries.

We need to help but Putin is getting desperate and we need to be very careful here. Do you not remember a certain incident in Salisbury?
Mate, I think the Russians that Putin sent over to destabilise us are already here and have been for sometime. They're in the House of Lords and own our newspapers.
Why does the rest of Europe not share these same security concerns about the women, children and elderly fleeing the Ukraine?

Apparently they did a few days ago same with Ukrainians taking the road signs down. Imagine if the 100 mile long convoy take a wrong turn and end up invading Belarus
🤣🤣🤣

“Err lads, Sure we’ve already been here”
