seems it was initiated yoesterday, Shapps has written to all ports asking them to turn away Russian ships and those associated with Russia. Legislation to follow

The EU President made a very passionate speech there but I do worry that it appears to be heading towards a bigger war. He seems to be advocating accepting Ukraine’s application for the EU and there will only be one outcome if that happens. Increasingly worrying times ahead I fear.

All there weapons/tanks are old, the army is nowhere near ours in terms of training ,most just young lads with a gun thrown in there hand ,yes there will be a few good units but nowhere near what we have ,same as the airforce we would blow them out the sky ,Putin knows his only trump card is the nuclear threat.
Take that away and he's knackered.

Most of 'em are but they've still got a fair few upgraded tanks and the new T-14. We'd knock a big dent in them but ultimately would be overwhelmed by their numbers.

I think there were huge tip offs. Our initial very light sanctions against just a handful of individuals and businesses was likely a tip off in my opinion.

There will have been an awful lot of assets being frantically moved around just before the more severe sanctions were introduced.
