Yellow armbands signify that they're civilians fighting as part of the Ukraine army. It appears these people were using it as a disguise when as acting as saboteurs. One of them shot and killed which suggests they were saboteurs and not looters. Also there was about a dozen of them which also...

It's unpopular because it's not the truth. Ukraine isn't Russia just like Canada isn't the US. Two places having many things in common (and yes, that includes corruption for Ukraine and Russia) does not make them the same nor does it make it morally justifiable for one to take over the other by force. And once the Russians take a place, they dig in hard - to the point that fighting back "later" means decades.

Anyone see those mad lads on Sky News earlier turning up at the Ukrainian embassy in London to volunteer to fight in the foreign legion? One of them was 60.

Anyone up for it?

It's ok to hate all bloodshed, all war, and all killing. All anyone is doing is focusing upon the real villains of this entire operation.

The world isn't completely black and white. You can both feel angry and sick about the situation. Detest Putin and the Russian state for what they are doing. Wish the Russian army would fall back and stop the war, death and destruction. Even wish death upon the Oligkarky and political class of Russia. While also not wishing the death of young working-class lads, many of whom have been conscripted into the Russian army, and probably don't want to be there at all. No soldier I have ever met wanted to be in a war. Nobody wants to kill others. You do it because it is your job, because you are a soldier and have been trained for it. As I said before, I'm sure they want to be at home with their friends and families as much as the Ukrainians.

He’s not saying whether it justifiable or not, he’s given legit reasons for not joining in. He’s listing legit facts, the whole ‘indistinguishable’ thing is nonsense, yes, if that’s all that comes out of that then I’d say he’s got it pretty much spot on.
