In my experience the majority of MPs who stay away from Westminster are exemplary public servants regardless of party, bit they also tend to have the sense not to become involved in politics

Westminster and everything it stands for is truly toxic

It's important that the EU / NATO gives him a clearly marked off ramp -

otherwise this is heading towards a Grozny type massacre or much worse

The Russians now will be under no illusions what will follow if they pull a stunt like tjus again in Europe

i read somewhere (a long time ago, so i doubt i'd ever find it again) that as far as the UK went practically everything would be underneath a first strike

the small size of the UK meant that majority of places would find themselves within 10-20 miles of a first-strike target, ie ports, railhubs, airports, heavy industry, army bases, etc
 
Quick question...do we still have air sirens in the UK? Only time I've heard one sound was in Aycliffe. But I think that came from a factory on the industrial estate.
