Let's agree to differ then.Fair enough. And it should be debated. But not here and now. The situation is too critical to sidetrack the thread in any way. Apart from your Grandad of course.
It seems to sone to be criticism for the sake of criticism.Has it occurred to you that it happens so often because:
All imho of course.
- Putin helped fund Brexit. Reversing that decision would piss Putin off and improve unity. If that is not the case it would be simple for Johnson to publish the Russian interference report?
- Our own government has been massively complacent around Russian money and giving them undue influence in our internal decisions. If this was Labour your would be screaming “Traitor”. All Johnson has to do is publish the report.
- The Tories are more racist than not.
- I understand it is hard to admit you are wrong but continuing to support a regime that suggests people escaping a f***ing war zone need to apply for agricultural visas is the final straw for me. After the crisis in Ukraine I will be campaigning full on to get rid of the Tossers running this country.
I actually said to one of the lads at work on Thursday that I reckoned it would all be over and Ukraine occupied by Sunday.
Seriously hats off to the Ukrainians man, what a set of absolute f***ing warriors.![]()
Bet the sudden rise in the price of diesel is stretching Putin‘s war budget.Modern tanks consume way more juice than Ww2 tanks me old mucker
This was a valuable resource for following the events and is now getting clogged up by the usual petty points when people in Ukraine are fighting for their very existence. Plenty of threads can be started on other stuff.Fair enough. And it should be debated. But not here and now. The situation is too critical to sidetrack the thread in any way. That’s a lot of smouldering Russian tanks. 5,000??

Send Ant Middleton and tell him the Russians are the woke patrol. Was thinking earlier on how class it would be if a load of ex special force lads got involved
There was one from both of those two countries on the Today programme on Friday iirc and they both felt that this situation had moved them closed to joining NATO, they are already part of JEF in which we are the leading nation. If this week's events haven't convinced Finland and Sweden to join NATO, nothing ever will.
It’s boring marra and it’s why the politics forum has descended into the same names having a reach around on every different subject whilst the rest have fucked off .Things in the world are connected mate.
