Russia invading Ukraine (NEWS/UPDATES)

It’s widely believed that military technology is likely 20-30 years ahead of where the general public might think it is.

Wouldn’t surprise me if the Yanks in particular had developed some technology to take out a missile before it hits.
Some kind of radar "sucker inner" machine that captures and nullifies the missile would be canny

Those were bombs dropped from conventional aircraft. The second was Nagasaki. Ballistic missiles aren't easy to hit. The reason that the cold war never went hot was there was no defence where you survive both sides and the world die.
Ah balls, always assumed they were nuclear missiles.

I never thought I’d be sitting here typing as the threat of nuclear war looms in 2022. How the fuck have we ended up in this state. After the nerves have taken a battering over the last 2 years it’s hard to believe we are being put through this. Ordinary people all over the world…UK, Russia, China, Ukraine etc just want to live their lives in peace.

Yet here I am shitting about a nuclear war on a sunny afternoon in Roker….

What the fuck
And you have one man to thank for this.

The outcome of this is incredible. If they get rid of Putin soon then the world. (Well our world) will be a much much safer place and Ukraine should get billions to rebuild their country.
It's the speed of this that I find incredible. A week ago, he wasn't going to invade Ukraine, it was all Western lies and propaganda. Less than 7 days later he's making overt nuclear threats. He surely must have lost the plot.

Turkey banning Russian ships from Black Sea.
The Turks could gain politically from this. They don't like Russia but have good links with Ukraine. Erdoğan wants to be taken more seriously, by the US in particular. They're pretty much a junior member of NATO despite having a stronger military than a lot of other members.

"hahaha no I'm not going to invade m, western lies" "we are going to send troops into the east to stop a genocide" "we are invading Kyiv because we are threatened by NATO" "we are threatened by NATO so we are thinking of invading Finland" "lads we have nukes please don't scare us"

Putins a proper bitch like

Some very rapidly changing dynamics that for good or bad I think mean the end game of this. Bad is very bad obviously.

From a few sources.

1. Total German reversal of 50yrs worth of politics. Increasing defence spend, happy to give arms to Ukraine & regretting close energy ties to Russia. They look like idiots & are repairing it.
2. Kazakhstan said no to military help.
3. Belarus very much looking like no military help.
4. Only lads that have jumped in are chechens who are gangsters just looking to kill people.
5. China is becoming less supportive by the day.
6. Protests in Belarus now.
7. Runs on banks in Russia.
8. Tangible effects on Russia standing in world. Loss of sponsorship deals, sport events, Chelsea etc.
9. Turkey widely using word "war" which means it can block Russian fleet in black sea. If Russia fought that (conventionally) Turkey would batter them.
Turks a canny force like?
