Imagine if Russia got a decent west leaning leader that wanted to bring the good times back for his people ? The world would be a much more pleasant place tbh 🤗

For whatever reason, nothing came of a nuclear threat during the Cold War. One potential reason is maybe Russia thought USA would neutralise it.

It’s never going to be 100% accurate, but the US appear confident it’ll likely neutralise the launch of nuclear weapons.

Those were bombs dropped from conventional aircraft. The second was Nagasaki. Ballistic missiles aren't easy to hit. The reason that the cold war never went hot was there was no defence where you survive both sides and the world die.

Naively perhaps I'm hoping that the condemnation of these attacks and the reaction around the world may bring in some foundations for a better world.
