Britain takes more actual refugees directly from camps that host the most vulnerable, than most countries in the world. It's almost certain that we'll take our fair share from Ukraine.

Yes

I think the issue is around how they actually get them out of Ukraine at the moment.

It isn't. There's not been any attempts to do that at all. Ukrainians are leaving the country in droves without issue though. The borders are running with them.

Once out of the Ukraine, refugees have been told by multiple countries that they will be welcomed without issue and any barriers have been relaxed .

The UK on the other hand has clarified that under its immigration policy it won't take any refugees by the only means by which they can enter the country.
