This is in relation to illegal economic migrants - not really they time or place to make your "illegal migrants welcome - jump on a dinghy" point.
Britain takes more actual refugees directly from camps that host the most vulnerable, than most countries in the world. It's almost certain that we'll take our fair share from Ukraine.

The French navy has intercepted a cargo ship in the English channel bound for the Russian city of St Petersburg, the BBC has learned.

French officials told the BBC that the ship was intercepted in line with new EU sanctions and say it has been redirected to the northern port of Boulogne-Sur-Mer.

“A 127 meters long Russia cargo ship called the 'Baltic Leader' transporting cars has been intercepted overnight by the French Navy in the Channel and escorted to the Port of Boulogne-Sur-Mer in Northern France," the official said.

I've took one in already, my MIL. :lol:

Told my MIL if she has any friends or family who can get to the UK they are more than welcome but my wife says they would need a visa to get here, disgraceful. These aren't people who would come to the UK to emigrate but to get away from war, my MIL never wanted to leave Kiev last week but my wife insisted and they had a row. Never thought the Russians would go into Kiev.

Someone posted a building being blown up when it was actually the fertilizer explostion in Beirut from a couple of years ago.

This may be the first war being fought live on Twitter but there is misinformation on both sides.
