Just give it a rest eh? It’s boring the shit out of most people. Is it not a fair question of Pugwash’s post?
I don’t understand that you spelling mistake. You’re a ducking Doyle you lad get gone
LikewiseI don’t understand that you spelling mistake.
You’d imagine it/they will be dropped on cities. Be surprised if there are any troop positions that would make it worthwhile dropping that much ordnance in one location. That’s really, really bad if true. In a city? That’s insane.
That's what I mean. At that point you're basically talking intentional mass murder of civilians. You’d imagine it/they will be dropped on cities. Be surprised if there are any troop positions that would make it worthwhile dropping that much ordnance in one location.
Ok I’m off! I know when I’m not wanted.Just give it a rest eh? It’s boring the shit out of most people.
Fully understand why countries aren't wanting to risk wider conflict by sending troops in, but surely the world couldn't just sit back if he starts mass murdering civilians? I mean, I don't know what the answer would be, but could countries really sit back while a lunatic unleashes that on a friendly, sovereign nation? I just hope to fuck that I wake up and there's not been an atrocity of historic scale but with the way Putin seems to be acting you almost think it's only going to end if some, more sensible, heads in Russia decide to remove himThat's what I mean. At that point you're basically talking intentional mass murder of civilians.
For fucks sake man, it's not a game. It's not "getting tasty" if they're deployed, its a travesty and war crime that will affect real people as it already has done in Syria. Grow the fuck upthermobarics?? getting tasty now likeYou must be logged on to see external links
It’s a weird one now with general mobilisation. If all citizens have access to arms, how do you immediately distinguish between armed/unarmed civilians. I guess that will be the defence of any general. That's what I mean. At that point you're basically talking intentional mass murder of civilians.
World watched Miloslvich do it for 4 yearsFully understand why countries aren't wanting to risk wider conflict by sending troops in, but surely the world couldn't just sit back if he starts mass murdering civilians? Agreed mate, I tend to stay off the politics board because honestly I don't understand a lot of it. You're absolutely right, there's lots of places where you'd think decent nations should get involved but don't. It's just sickening, and it's heartbreaking when you see messages from people fearing for their lives who are begging countries to do something to help them. For my tiny part I emailed my mp for the first time in my life just to say I hope, at the very least, they put pressure on the government to take in as many refugees as possible. But again you're right in that we should really be taking in a lot more from all over, from conflicts that aren't as widely reported. I wish we would.@Guinness Guzzler i’ll tag you as the quotes are a bit buggered
It’s such a tough one. The west rightly gets pilloried for foreign policy at times, but they’re damned if they do and damned if they don’t at times
Rwanda - fuck all, genocide
Iraq - gassing the Kurds
Bosnia
It goes on. Should we intervene in North Korea? Where 23m people are prisoners (some in forced labour camps), and starving to death? China with Xinjiang?
There is no good answer sadly
Most of politics is human compassion, and feel, and then you cut through the noise or the technicalities. I base my politics on what I think is right, not how systems are setup.Agreed mate, I tend to stay off the politics board because honestly I don't understand a lot of it. Think I tagged you when you had a while off the board because I read you'd been learning mandarin and I'm trying to do the same. Then you read threads like this and think "ah shit, maybe I shouldn't", the Chinese government don't sound any better for world peace than bloody putin is, although at least abstaining from the vote might put a tiny bit extra pressure on him (not that I think they did it for anything other than selfish reasons)
OnKazakhstan is said to be refusing a request for its troops to join the Russian offensive and won’t recognise Donetsk or Luhansk
Bad puppet state
You're right mate 'cos it's our species...borders and hatred of harmless differences cause all wars...many of them in hereI’m still so angry about this. I know this ent be received well but if I was single I’d honestly go out there. Not as a war tourist but as a stance against something rotten in this world.
Not my country, not my war, but our spectator stance on this is disgusting
