Who decides what is stable and Democratic? There would be if they invaded a stable democratic country for no reason. They would be condemned and sanctioned the same as Russia.

Mine goes to shit when I drive up the coast road to shields.Could you drive a tank through another country no bother while under fire like? It’s possible GPS etc can fail at times.
What's your point? What's your opinion on the situation?Who decides what is stable and Democratic?
Happened in Spain in 1936. Orwell wrote a cracking book as a result. He wants random British citizens to go to Ukraine to fight?!

Big call. That's an easy one to suggest but a very different matter if you're the one making the decision. I'd give it odds of 20/1 on of being the right call but even that slight doubt is enough to withhold making the call.
It's an admirable aspiration and an heroic ideal, that is for sure. I had a similar exchange of views on the thread yesterday morning; we need to swallow this bitter pill and react in a strident fashion; but I am convinced that returned fire between Russia and NATO at this stage would be a (bigger) disaster and doomed to unprecedent escalation.Big call. Putin's took them back in the cold to the days of Brezhnev- the Russian people won't stand for it surely, nor will the Oligarchs.Hopefully he will get taken out. Not impossible. Ukraine a huge gamble. Everyone seems to be assuming he'll just roll onto the next 'miscreant', Moldova maybe, but this adventure could tie him and Russia down for long time.
It’s the way forward, young Russians have other news outlets to to state media these days, their propaganda machine will not workThe West is obviously playing the long game and hoping that the Russian people will reject the war and topple Putin.
Revenge is a dish best served cold. Insurrection would be perfect but the loss of life for it to happen is beyond heartbreaking.Putting several thousand UN peacekeepers/observers into Kyiv would have surely made Putin think long and hard about entering the capital.
