Russia invading Ukraine (NEWS/UPDATES)

Take everything with a pinch of salt, I’ve seen footage from the south of the country showing a huge Ukraine army column decimated. Both sides are no doubt suffering losses but God knows what the actual scale is.
The sky analyst bloke fleeing around with the Microsoft tablet reckons most of the best Ukrainian forces are in the south also.

“If you move against Ukraine while I’m president,” Trump is said to have told the Russian leader, “I will hit Moscow.”

Putin reportedly scoffed, “No way,” leading Trump to say, “All those beautiful golden turrets will be blown up.”

This is what happens when you have a weak leader in charge of the "free world". Putin invaded Georgia under Bush, Crimea under Obama and now Ukraine under Biden. He didn't do anything under Trump. But at least we don't have to put up with any more nasty Tweets though right?
“Putin wanted to undermine the NATO alliance, and Trump undermined the NATO alliance. Putin wanted to weaken the E.U., and Trump made little effort to express his disdain for the E.U. Putin wanted to weaken the U.S. political system, and Trump was unnervingly aggressive in trying to weaken the U.S. political system.

Putin wanted to hurt Ukraine, and Trump launched an extortion scheme that threatened to hurt Ukraine.

Why didn’t the Russian leader deploy troops into Ukraine during Trump’s term? Perhaps because Putin was so pleased with an American president who pursued goals in line with Moscow’s agenda.

Had Putin launched an invasion, it risked upsetting the course he was already delighted to see. Why would the Russian leader get in the way of the progress Trump was already delivering?”

The common person will never know where the truth lies on either side.

Trump was weak. Just unhinged.

Good stuff, make it as costly for the Russians as possible. If enough body bags come back to Moscow (like with the Soviets in Afghanistan) then Putin has a problem on his hands.

Not by any means the same type of theatre, unfortunately..

I hope so. Best thing for that wanker is a bullet to the brain.
It's not
An assasination may galvinise the Russian people. The moderates wouldn't be happy to see their head of state murdered.
It needs the Russian people to stand up and make it clear they will not tolerate this

Still not enough
