There was somebody on 5Live yesterday saying if you even dare to call them an oligarch they will sue you and due to them being worth £xbillion they know they can just outspend anyone and everyone until they win, so I'm guessing if you have a group of them all together they will be willing to spend half of what they might loose to give them enough time to move everything to another country.

Mate, this discussion is beyond you but your defensiveness is an excellent example of the phenomenon I'm talking about. You're so emotionally wed to a national myth that an abstract discussion about its peoblematic aspects on a football message board makes you feel bad.
 
Russia Navy seem shot to bits. They already destroyed most of the Ukrainian equivalent. Fuck knows what they are firing at now. But they are going to sink a civilian ship soon and if it’s from a Western country that will cause an escalation.

Plus if your going to annoy a navy I wouldn’t pick on the Japanese :lol:

I'm wed to a national myth but your determined to bring up the British Empire while Russia invades Ukraine in 2022 so we feel bad about ourselves. Absolutely no one is talking about the British empire other than yourself. Ask yourself why that is.

I bought them for my last house, I think they're great.
But I also think homes are not the right place for them. All those arse-ugle factories in industrial estates, where tons of power is needed - that's where to put them.

If we can lower our gas requirements by a certain amount, a massive subsidy in panels would be worth it, surely?

The British Government is legislating against housing refugees from a war it started. It's one of the chief arms dealers for the war in Yemen.

Our past history still informs our present actions. We're responsible for so much misery in the Middle East, still, because we believe ourselves to be something other than aggressors, because of our intentions, and because most of the British public believe ourselves to somehow just be better people who have learned from our mistakes, despite the fact we've invaded multiple countries in the 21st century.
