Quickly becoming the buzzword of 2022.

Wish people would stop muttering on about them, we'll not know if successful/ or see the (hopeful) impact of them for months, possibly years.

Not going to make a jot of difference in saving Ukraine.

It looks to me like the Russians have sent the cannon fodder in to grind down the Ukrainians and backed them with air strikes and helicopters. Once Kyiv is ready to fall then we'll see more elite soldiers.

Would anyone put it past Putin if he’s sustaining losses and feeling the pain of sanctions from the west, to use nuclear bombs or WOMD to get his point over?

I always knew the Russians were a bit mad but didn’t mind them especially, they helped defeat ISIS in Syria which was a positive (albeit to keep Assad in power). But this shit has taken Putin to a whole new level. He is literally a pariah. Fuck him and fuck Russia.

He might but Russia would be a smoking ruin if he did. The combined nuclear forces of the UK, US and France would surely respond. China might back them up of course, and North Korea. India and Pakistan might decide this is the end and blow each other up. Israel probably would level Tehran. Iran would probably blow themselves up trying to bomb Israel.
