Is there another Alex Neil?!? Cos the many, many times I’ve seen north end play under him the only tactic they had was to pass the ball back to the keeper as soon as possible. And that was with a half decent back four. We’d be fucked!

We’ve apparently had interest from round the world. There’s a full data team employed to identify candidates to fit into what we’re supposed to be trying to do. Speakman said as much himself.

Yet here we are, looking at two obvious candidates who are out of work. We’re the biggest club in this division; could we approach MK Dons and discuss their coach? What about that Kisnorbo fella? What about Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink who’d fancy a crack at a club with profile.

It’s not my job to employ replacements. It’s the DoFs. They’re pretending that they’re super thorough fact finders and we’re now about to appoint one of the most obvious candidates.

Loads of people on here trying to convince themselves they are happy with Neil when really deep down we are all gutted it’s not Keane
I don’t think Neil is a bad shout btw but the way Keane has been hyped up over the last 2 weeks and for it to come to this is utterly deflating
Club to blame for f***ing about ,owner didn’t help either by liking tweets suggesting Keane deal was done
