Like everyone else, I’m really underwhelmed with this bloke if he is appointed.

However, giving him a short term contract until the end of the season is the most pragmatic and sensible of proceeding now that Keane has turned us down.

If by some miracle he gets us promoted, great. If (as we all expect) he doesn’t impress, we have the option to bin him.

Not ideal but about the best we can do now under the circumstances.

Bin him for who exactly,he should be given at least 18mths

Narrow escape imho. We talk about dour manages then crave for Mr Miserable aka Roy Keane as the next saviour. Thank goodness he ‘pulled out’. Too big a challenge for a tv pundit.

This was actually my first suggestion when LJ was sacked that’s when I had been beaten down by Madrox to believe we are nothing but a lowly league one entity.

He isn't, I would have stuck with Johnson until the end of the season and then tried for Roy Keane.
