CM was the one who got it back on, but Spenkman fucked it up again.
Not once but twice.
He did the same with Defoe kept telling him LJ wasn't having it.
That's why he went to Oxford then Charlton.
And CM and Dave Jones convinced him once LJ was gone to come back.
CM should still know better than to rock up to a game at this moment mate. He's burned all of his bridges with his genius PR.

I know you think he's alright, but he did the damage himself.

Short onwards we were terribly run , the bit before that maybe- was it 2 years? Grow strong roots and if will grow.

Problem is that Drumaville had delivered some success, but hadn't laid the foundations. It was all built on debt, which was unsustainable once the crash happened. Short's biggest mistake was letting Quinn persuade that the way Drumaville ran it was the way it worked. For a decade, no attention whatsoever was given to how transfer investments would be recouped.

How about possibly Roy Keane? Sorry, can't be him - he's been canonised. f***ing up an appointment does not mean Donald is running anything. He only gives a shit about how big his cheque is down the line. Methven will try to influence things, because that's him.
It's Roy keane's fault because we sacked Johnson and didn't have a replacement lined up? Come on man. I know you find it hard to have anything remotely negative to say about those that run the club no matter how much damage they've done, but that's just crackers.

It was the responsibility of those who run safc to bring the right man into the club in a timely fashion and they failed. Badly.

This thread is about protesting. A protest needs to be organised. It is completely unrealistic to expect everyone to not buy season tickets.
Wouldn't have to actually do it . Get 15000 ST holder names on a petition giving intent not to renew . That's a protest in anyone's book . Social media is a useful thing sometimes 😉

Yes the reason is he has a new hotel and it's easier to get to away games than home
This new hotel was it purchased over the last few month with shares he sold ? Did he say that to you about attending games ?

I don't care how 'Mag-esque' it is, I don't care how many sarcy comments people make, I'll just hit 'ignore' on them, I don't care how many people do a hilarious misspelling of boycott, and I don't care how many people claim that people who protest aren't 'true supporters'.

The club we love, and have spent our lives loving, has been taken over by leeches. Dishonest, incompetent chancers who have taken money out of the club, employed their mates and other assorted idiots, criticised the fans, put nothing back into the club, and delivered the four worst teams in our 143 year history. When the three original chancers were found out, they just went out, found another one, hid behind him, and pretended they sold the club - when all they had done was add another chancer to the mix.

They have taken the piss out of our loyalty, knowing that our fatal flaw is that, EVERY season since we have been in League One (apart from the season behind closed doors), we have had higher attendances than any other club has ever managed at this level. 38395 of us were there last Saturday. That's incredible. It should also be embarrassing for the owners.

The shambles of the managerial situation, and the non appointment of Roy Keane is a watershed moment. It was (rightly or naively) the last light at the end of the tunnel. It has just been switched off.

Already there are lots of individuals coming to the conclusion they have had enough. I completely understand it, and right now I feel that way myself. It will also change nothing.

The club we love will never progress until these people are gone. Supporters of clubs in far, far healthier positions than us have organised protests on various issues, and they have often worked.

It is way past time that we arranged a protest. I don't claim to know what that looks like, or how it would work. But this is now an existential crisis for the club, and it is way past time that as supporters, we fought back against it.
Simple - Dont renew.

The same name and the same person's bollocksed up responsibilities keep coming up time and time again and yet he is still in place which is incredible.

Even if Methven is a bit of a pariah on here, I hope he at least has sussed out Speakman and made it clear to KLD how much of a loose cannon the fella is.

From reading the transcript from his briefing the other day, I know that ultimately £20k per week wouldn't be enough to stop me from punching that fella in the face repeatedly, and I'm a lot more patient than Roy Keane. RK will have seen through him in seconds and would have then left with the choice between trying to get us through this mess but with having to answer to an inept buffoon
