You don't rate Stewart or Pritchard or Broadhead or Defoe ? You didn't want to hold on to Dan Neil this window ? You wanted non league nobodies in charge of the academy ?
Stewart is a good player but it’s irrelevant because he and Neil will be leaving this summer thanks to us making another monumental mess of trying to get out of the THIRD DIVISION.
How many of them players will be here next season if we don't go up? The board has literally tossed 6 point in the Wear.
No mate. KLD is here to save us and you aren’t allowed to criticize. 😎

I get what you’re saying but why shouldn’t someone who owns a percentage of a football club not be allowed to turn up to the odd game? It’s not like he’s there every week and just because he watches the odd game it doesn’t mean he’s got control of the club.

We all think the 3 amigos are wankers but I’m not sure we as fans can tell them wether or not they can come and watch their investment from time to time.
At the very least anyone with a brain could tell him to maybe wait til we're not in the middle of throwing the season away with no manager, and a fanbase up in arms like.

I agree, and if it had been a few weeks ago it wouldn't be such an issue.... although perhaps not sitting inbetween Kyril and Speakman.... which doesn't help either. It was just very badly judged all round.

Well that's just clearly bollocks. Any shareholder could speak to another shareholder and try to build up a rapport. It's not rocket science. Kyril should've ignored him, but it's not beyond the realms of possibility.

And Methven apparently wanted Keane, as did Kyril, that might've been the starting point.
Him being at Cheltenham was a slap in the dish for any Sunderland supporter. Completely unnecessary given what’s going on right now. The arrogant bellend wont care.

There is absolutely nothing stopping the people who want to protest from protesting and those who don’t want to not protesting.

It isn’t Mag like at all. Some people feel inclined to, some people don’t.

What is apparent to me is that all of those in favour of protesting seem to want somebody else to organise it. There is a clear appetite on here for it but no one will do anything about it. Lots of ‘we need to’ and ‘I’m up for this’ but nothing proactive. It’s been this way for years. Someone needs to take the bull by the horns. Don’t start a thread like this full of empty words. Do something about it. Organise something on here. Create an event on Facebook. Anything. It might just take off.
No need to organise anything at all though really...

Just don’t buy a season card for next season. Small short term sacrifice to make for the long term good of the club.

This thread is about protesting. A protest needs to be organised. It is completely unrealistic to expect everyone to not buy season tickets.

He's been here what, less than a year? Two transfer windows.

Not sure how you expect him to do much in less than a year (half a season, really) to get us out of this division.

I'd say the first (very) worrying signs is how long it has taken to appoint a new manager. I said before he was sacked that we need someone lined up. At the same time, to play devils advocate, when we sacked JR we seemed to rush into the appointment of Parkinson and panic. Atleast we're not rushing into shite we don't want. I don't want McCann, but if we appointed him I'd confidently say he was high on a shortlist when we sacked Johnson.

I may be being very naive, but I can't understand why people are blaming KLD or Speakman for this season's downturn. Happy to read about why it's either or both of their faults like.

CM was the one who got it back on, but Spenkman fucked it up again.
Not once but twice.
He did the same with Defoe kept telling him LJ wasn't having it.
That's why he went to Oxford then Charlton.
And CM and Dave Jones convinced him once LJ was gone to come back.
