I don’t care if it’s from six years ago. I have a question for the sages of PF. Gather yourselves together and tell me when Luke Edwards ever had any news about SAFC that hadn’t been disclosed earlier elsewhere? I know the answer BTW I’m looking for confirmation.
Wee phillie has more scoops to his name than edwards. He’s a f**king mag genocide sympathiser. And he’s shit at his job.
Got it in 1,
Add Nixon Hope and the worst of them all, Downie

I voted for Big Sam, and i'll be fumin if we don't get Keane now.
I voted for Neil as I think he is a smart, young manager whose teams play really nice football and he will do a really good job for someone next time around. But seems not here, right now.

I won’t be fuming if Keane doesn’t get the job. But I have also turned my opinion around on him. Give him it. See if he can work under a DoF. Frighten the bejaysus/inspire the players. And hope he comes up trumps. I’ll be made up if he succeeds.

Perhaps. I get that. But there’s no denying there is a decent percentage who are less than enamoured.

I’ve come round to it somewhat, after initially thinking it barmy. Still think it will go fully tits up though. That’s what’s 50 years of supporting Sunderland does for me us I guess.
It certainly wasn’t about realistic, BSA and at the time even Keane weren’t really realistic. It was about who you would want if it was an option from some fairly obvious possibles. I voted other- Rob Edwards. Not because BSA or Keane are poor options or entirely impossible but because I want the next bright young brilliant coach whilst they’re attainable not someone who’s been here and chosen to leave as they both have or a dour also ran.

This was partly my reason for my AN vote – although he’s not quite the Bright Young Thing he’s only 40 and has promotions on his CV.

But if it’s Keane, then I’ll just strap myself in, get behind him as Head Coach the and enjoy the carpet ride.

Been disillusioned with Sunderland since 2017/2018. The (pontential) Roy Keane appointment genuinely has me excited; please get the deal done.
