It’s only been a week man, people need to stop wetting themselves over how long it’s taking. It’s frustrating as fuck but it’s better they take the time to make sure Keane has what he needs rather than pulling out and appointing McCann.
People would have been more accepting of this point of view if speakman hadnt put out that dogshit interview on Saturday.

I can’t believe that our supposedly well connected board hasn’t come up with better options than the usual suspects we have so far seen mooted. However, it they do cock up appointing Keane, then Neil would surely be better than McCann.
They could but the better ones would need compensation paid to the clubs they are under contract to.So we are being fed a line that the only ones that fit just happen to be unemployed

maybe he didn’t want the players know he was watching them so he can see their minerals and make sure they did t just raise their game because of him

Worryingly even the journos who were positive about Keane are now starting to cast shade on it.

Starting to prepare for the worst, then can't be disappointed. Atmosphere will be grim if it's McCann or Neil.

Just to reassure if McCann is at the stadium tomorrow - he is one of our all time greats and played in the same team as our manager (Duff) as well as other coaches/staff at the club. He also still looks out for our results and has been at games before.
Think this forum would implode

Hopefully you are right. I wonder if the board realise that they will probably not see another 38,000 crowd for a couple of years if they get this wrong?
That’s the price of getting this wrong, Keane in, sees at least a few bumper crowds to start with, more if he takes off! McCann sees the stadium half empty from day 1, the amount of money lost in gate receipts will soon add up to the money saved on skimping from paying Keane what he wants (if that’s the issue)

Just listened to the WMS Podcast with Luke Edwards.

He is still hopeful and believes Keano was offered the job on Friday according to his info.

‘he is under the impression he has been offered the job’
