In an attempt to put a more positive spin on things, I'm sure the club could appoint Grant McCann in a heartbeat. Getting the right deal in place for Keane might take more time for lots of reasons, frustrating as it is its probably best that they find a way to make that dear work

It’s only been a week man, people need to stop wetting themselves over how long it’s taking. It’s frustrating as fuck but it’s better they take the time to make sure Keane has what he needs rather than pulling out and appointing McCann.

Hopefully RK announced tomorrow and club will point out that the delay was in convincing Andy Reid that there were enough takeaways in the city and wider administrative area combined for him to have a different one every night for a calendar year hopefully.

Hopefully you are right. I wonder if the board realise that they will probably not see another 38,000 crowd for a couple of years if they get this wrong?

Not the appointment but the communication. And in fairness, quite possibly the appointment. I've worked with plenty of people like Methven over the years.

KLD wasn't liking posts about Keane being considered for the job because he's an excitable kid. That was a deliberate move.
