Yeah some standards and organisational ablity on the coaching staff would be a start along with jobs for the old boys network ending.Thats exactly what I thought .WTF also we have a long long way to go!
We could have just not told him.I don't think Johnson would have been happy knowing they were interviewing others.
Bit of an exaggeration like.We aren’t in a position to think that. The club needs dragging forward. No one better, literally no one.
They ether show ambition or contentment to remain in the lower leaguesIf Grant McCann is announced then I'll presume the club aren't keen on matchday revenue as 10k will disappear from Saturday's gate in the blink of an eye.
Keane wants the job and Sunderland want him which until I got the message earlier I doubted. Unless they massively fuck him about today he will be our manager. The club are cslming expectations incase they can't reach an agreement with him. Which will 100% be about length of the deal
Tough.I don't think Johnson would have been happy knowing they were interviewing others.
Do you have their name, long number, expiry date and the three numbers on the back of their card ?Can’t as hopefully they will drop more bits of info my way in the future. I know I know…
Exactly, he's not exactly going to walk away and lose his pay off is he? Plus, he will have an idea when he's on thin ice.Tough.
Your source also claimed, you said, that he was at the match on Saturday, which lets face it...is total BS.Keane wants the job and Sunderland want him which until I got the message earlier I doubted. Unless they massively fuck him about today he will be our manager.
Sorry if you've already explained, but who sent you what message?Keane wants the job and Sunderland want him which until I got the message earlier I doubted. Unless they massively fuck him about today he will be our manager.
It wasn’t a 2nd interview as how we would think of an interview, it was for more talks might still be there now but was definitely there this morning. Can’t get my head around why speakman (a bloke who’s never kicked a ball in his life) would have to interview highly qualified managers/ former pros twice. What exactly is he gonna interview Keane twice for?? Surely the first time you meet him you either think yes or no. Especially in as much of a rush we are this just doesn’t make sense, I think we will end up with either McCann or that former Nottingham Forrest manager the longer this goes on.
Who’s your sourceKeane wants the job and Sunderland want him which until I got the message earlier I doubted. Unless they massively fuck him about today he will be our manager.
Somebody at the clubSorry if you've already explained, but who sent you what message?

Cop out by the club or a cop out by Speakman. I think it’s blindingly obvious he doesn’t want his authority to be challenged by a Keane type manager. If Keane were to come in and Speakman remain then his level of decision making which he presently has will be diminished. Do you think Keane would allow somebody, who’s only claim to success is being at Birmingham at the same time as Jude Bellingham decide which midfielders, defenders, goal keepers to sign…not likely. I’m sure Keane would welcome Speakman compiling data, doing some of the day to day administration duties that a manager without a DOF is required to do, but makes decision on signings, never!I feel utterly deflated even contemplating McCann being announced as manager. If it actually comes to fruition then that will be me for the season i think. It'd be such a meek cop out from the club.
