All of those getting info from the club are saying it’s Keane and it’s all but done. None of them have deviated from that so I’d love for it to be true.

However the club does have a tendency to fuck up.
Until its announced, we're all gonna be in a bit of a panic. The big worry is that we're rapidly approaching Keane or bust territory. It's a dangerous place to be. The club could do every last thing in its power to get Keane, who could then reject us for whatever reason (maybe he wants to stay home with his dog) and the club will get horrendous abuse. I can imagine they want to do some damage limitation to try to claw back something, given the various leaks have completely flanked them (and the seemingly ill-advised likes from KLD) but given the febrile state of the fanbase after Saturday, they are probably doing the right thing by saying absolutely nowt at the moment.

There was a photo (a bad one) knocking about on Saturday that was meant to be him and KLD in premier concourse about an hour before kickoff but I didn't think it looked like either of them and they had masks on.
No don’t think that was him, wouldn’t make sense as to why they kept him out of the way if he was going to be walking around the ground pre match.

He was actually disguised as a steward in the east stand, got one of them people who do the disguises for ant and dec on saturday night takeaway to make him look a 70 year old gadgie in a high vis jacket.

I know because my reputable sources have confirmed it.

I wouldn't be bs-ing any of you good folk.
Its a shame he wasn't disguised as Corry Evans

And the fact they were stood in the south stand (not prem concourse as stated) putting the flags out

Were they? 😂 From the one I saw it looked like it poimted up at the concourse and they were standing in front of the concrete 'lip'. I din't either either looked like them anyway tbh bar the height of them.

Cop out by the club or a cop out by Speakman. I think it’s blindingly obvious he doesn’t want his authority to be challenged by a Keane type manager. If Keane were to come in and Speakman remain then his level of decision making which he presently has will be diminished. Do you think Keane would allow somebody, who’s only claim to success is being at Birmingham at the same time as Jude Bellingham decide which midfielders, defenders, goal keepers to sign…not likely. I’m sure Keane would welcome Speakman compiling data, doing some of the day to day administration duties that a manager without a DOF is required to do, but makes decision on signings, never!
Hopefully it won't come to this. Also, equally hopefully, KLD will have the final decision on who to appoint and i think he is more likely to consider the wishes of the support.

I was there around the same time helping to put the flags out, there was quite a lot of people kicking about. A lot of stewards, security, I seen the SLO, there was a new intake of bar staff/stewards/other staff sitting in the SW corner getting some sort of induction.

If Keane and KLD were walking around then, the picture was actually in the lower bowl, they'd have been spotted dozens of times.

Ok so here is what I’ve been told 100% no wind up, Keane was at the AOL this morning (still might be) he was actually at the match on Saturday but kept in a box no idea how he wasn’t spotted guessing he didn’t come out of the box (remember the fire alarm after the game). Told ‘they’ wanted to get these couple of games out of the way first before announcing Keane so Proctor and Dodds take the flak rather than Keane being rushed in and getting off to a bad start (makes no sense to me like) but he WILL be the next Sunderland manager! If this wasn’t me I would be calling it as bullshit and saying piss off but who I’ve been told from is ITK. Prehab or any of the other ITKs will be able to confirm some of these details I imagine (if they wish).

Sounds elaborate

Think where all in for rollercoaster this week, Tuesday night must win just to give the team and the fans a lift before the new appointment I'd like Keane or McCann.

What went wrong on Saturday? And what would you do about it? I think these would be appropriate questions for a 2nd interview!
Fair enough, good response. Hopefully there isn’t a 3rd round post-Tuesday which asks what do you think went wrong at Cheltenham?

how do we catch these moles leaking information?
I know tell them different stories, one can be that Keane was here on Saturday in a box and we set the fire alarm off so that we could smuggle him out of the back door and into the back of blacked out Ford Transit. Once we are clear of the Stadium we can drop him off at White Mare Pool so he can pick up a stolen Mercedes and drive back down home so that he can make Anfield on the Sunday
