Ok so here is what I’ve been told 100% no wind up, Keane was at the AOL this morning (still might be) he was actually at the match on Saturday but kept in a box no idea how he wasn’t spotted guessing he didn’t come out of the box (remember the fire alarm after the game). Told ‘they’ wanted to get these couple of games out of the way first before announcing Keane so Proctor and Dodds take the flak rather than Keane being rushed in and getting off to a bad start (makes no sense to me like) but he WILL be the next Sunderland manager! If this wasn’t me I would be calling it as bullshit and saying piss off but who I’ve been told from is ITK. Prehab or any of the other ITKs will be able to confirm some of these details I imagine (if they wish).
I’d believe the flat earth theory before that.

It would be impossible to watch it from the seats at the front of the box without being seen ffs.

Even if he had stood inside behind the glass all game, there is 0 way word wouldn't have got out from the amount of people who mill around the box corridors/toilets/communal areas.

Laughable suggestion to say he was here.
Not to mention all of the waitress type staff walking around between boxes etc bringing food and drink

It’s pure fantasy

Bang on like

Its one of the main parts of his job surely!

Ans im actually surprised at who we seem to be after. I was expecting left field options and managers already doing well at other clubs

But we just seem to be targeting the same old names who are currently jobless. No ambition or thought has gone into it imo

Im massively disappointed

Nothing personal but I can’t believe that. Keane would have been spotted if there with camera phones etc. If he just wanted to watch the match i’m sure he could have been giving a link to watch in his own home.

I do think he will be too. Just can’t see him going along with those things.
I think the whole of not being in charge in case we lost the first two games was more to do if we appoint Keane before he is ready to take over officially and there was still stuff to sort out rather than anything to do with the opposition

Workers gan out there every morning to pay the bill etc no motivation needed

why are these hopeless 🤬🤬🤬 any different

I’d play for nothing if I had the talent to play for my beloved club

we’ll crate of beer 😉
You have to want to win for the manager and want to battle otherwise it’s useless it’s easy you saying that they have done this since kids to alot of them it’s just a job

Whoever it is or when it is I just want these players to man up, couple not to play unless desperate and the injured long termers to get back asap.

You didn’t like mate!

Did like...
Have we though?

Batth came in the other week. Flanagan left yesterday.

Personally, I'd have probably kept the latter, but it just looks like one in one out to me.

And again...

He's first choice is what I said.

Club seem intent on playing 4 at the back. They must feel 3 plus Xhemalji is enough. I don't think Younger and Alves were ever really in the equation.

As I said, I'd have kept Flanagan, but it's basically been one in and one out as far as the first team is concerned. So nothing much has changed since the first half of the season, yet everybody's suddenly losing their shit about us being short at the back.

If Grant McCann is announced then I'll presume the club aren't keen on matchday revenue as 10k will disappear from Saturday's gate in the blink of an eye.
I feel utterly deflated even contemplating McCann being announced as manager. If it actually comes to fruition then that will be me for the season i think. It'd be such a meek cop out from the club.

Couldn’t agree more

It feels no different to ususal, I guess keane os the wild card

Amazed no left field options

Yep. Laughable suggestion like.

For starters unlike some other stadiums (such as Wembley), the seating areas for a box at the SOL aren't partitioned off from the ones connecting so you can see everyone sat outside every box along from yours as far as the eye can see if you are in one.

I recall at least half of the boxes were populated from having a few glances up from where I was sat in the West Stand.

Aye because word wouldn't have gotten out at all if he was there.....:lol:
