Can we still get a loan (central defender) - or is that deadline passed too?

He's first choice is what I said.3 centre backs still isnt enough like mate, I think last season proved that.
Doyle hasnt played well all season like, he is a promising player but has had some shocking performances, to say otherwise is incorrect. We've let in a ton of goals.
You need options, for form, for injury etc, for covid.

Club seem intent on playing 4 at the back. They must feel 3 plus Xhemalji is enough. I don't think Younger and Alves were ever really in the equation.
As I said, I'd have kept Flanagan, but it's basically been one in and one out as far as the first team is concerned. So nothing much has changed since the first half of the season, yet everybody's suddenly losing their shit about us being short at the back.
Well, if we are we are. Our first choice pairing will be playing on Saturday.am not losing me shit like, we just are short, wright's always injured too

I'm not convinced that would be the correct course of action regardless.I think the fact that we couldnt make a change at centre back even if we wanted the week after the worst result and performance in the club's history kind of proves my point mate!

Not really. Arby like a new signing and we've replaced flannagan with batth. If anything we're stronger than before januaryWe’ve left ourselves so short at the back.
Pretty sure we sold Younger rather than loaned him out tbh.Xhemajli will factor and I assume we have Younger on a string should we need him.
Then there's also O'Nien should we need him.
Hume as wellSays anyone who has seen him play. He genuinely isn't/
3 fit defenders is enough for a back 4 is it.
OK mate![]()
It's a bit of a risk tbf. However the ultimate reality is that we have swapped out Batth for Flanagan - undoubtedly an improvement - and have forgone the availability of two defenders who have contributed the grand total of 44 mins of league football to SAFC in over half a season. With O'Nien nearing a return and no room for him in the midfield inn, it's a gamble - but probably not as big a one as people think. He's first choice is what I said.

Has played some international games recently so should be in decent shape.Winston Reid has been without a club since September. 33 so might take a while to get up to speed.
Younger has left on a permanent. We can pull the string but it’s just gonna snap.Xhemajli will factor and I assume we have Younger on a string should we need him.

Ooof...I'm a tad concerned thenPretty sure we sold Younger rather than loaned him out tbh.
Oh ayeExactly.
Be just our luck now for Batth to do his ACL on Saturday.![]()
