Speakman just seems canny slow at everything. Let’s face it in the summer he was slow getting the players we desperately need through the door, not allowing LJ a full pre-season to prep the team. He’s been slow as shit with this managerial appointment. He was slow in the January transfer window, the guy seems to be just SLOW..,releasing Flanagan before signing a replacement he deserves to be sacked for IMO!

It isn’t really second though is it? I think people are clinging onto this league position without really factoring in how many games behind we are. We can’t even overtake Wigan having played 4 more games than them unless they lose on Tuesday - that tells you everything tbh

Speakman giving that interview yesterday makes me wary about his judgement. I like the DOF model but worry now we don’t have the right personnel in charge.

I’m hoping the delay is just because he contractually had to complete the television punditry Friday and tonight.

We really needed him in for Saturday and now we are desperate for him in before the next match.

It’s fine Speakman saying it’s not morally right to sound someone out while someone is still in a job but look where it’s left us. You have to have options you can move in quickly.

The decision to sack Johnson and not have a replacement lined up at a crucial point of the season absolutely sits with KLD & Speakman. As does putting them clowns in charge yesterday.

They have supposedly implemented a way of playing throughout the club at all levels. Well based on yesterday it worked, because it was just as shit as Johnson the week before.

They need someone in today, even if it is just to get us into the playoffs, because based on the last 2 games thats not even guaranteed now

As always a considered view.
I woke up this morning thinking that the clamour for Roy and these last two results puts enormous pressure on KLD and Speakman and gives Keane himself an immensely strong negotiating position.
If you were KLDs advisers would you see a danger to 'the project' by appointing someone who would have the capital in terms of fan support that Keane would have? Would he be unassailable?
